Medical device with silicone adhesive for Central Venous Catheter (CVC) protection and allowing exit site monitoring
Solukat Si™ is a practical, single-use, sterile medical device with silicone adhesive designed to fully protect a central venous catheter in compliance with the strictest hygiene protocols.
Applied at the end of the dialysis session, Solukat Si™ can remain on the skin for up to 3 days, providing adequate protection from the exit sites to the connectors until the next session.
The silicone adhesive of Solukat Si™ will preserve the most sensitive skins by increasing user comfort, guarantees perfect seal, painless removal and allows swimming.
How to use it
Slide the catheter ends into the bag and up to the insertion points. Place the adhesive strip on the skin side if you want to see the exit site. Otherwise, place the adhesive strip on the other side.
Remove the protective paper and stick the upper part. Remove the protective paper from the lower part.
Remove the blue marking strips.
Remove the protective paper from the adhesive strip. Solukat Si™ is now ready for use.
